Full Stack Intern (Remote, Full-Time) @ Village Location: Remote (India) Duration: 3-Month Internship Start Date: May 25, 2026 Compensation: Monthly stipend (competitive and based on experience) Employment Type: Full-Time Internship About Village & Role Village is building technology that helps families manage everyday logistical tasks through trusted local support networks. We are seeking a highly motivated and technically strong iOS Developer Intern based in India to join our product team remotely for a 3-month intensive internship. You will work directly on the Village MVP, contributing across both frontend and backend systems, implementing production-grade features, and collaborating closely on product execution. This is a hands-on product development role with meaningful ownership and impact. Responsibilities • Build and maintain core iOS application features for the Village MVP • Develop scalable, clean, and maintainable frontend architecture using industry best practices • Contribute to backend integrations, APIs, and data handling workflows • Implement UI/UX designs with high attention to detail and performance • Collaborate closely with product, design, and leadership teams • Participate in architecture discussions and technical decision-making • Debug, test, and optimize applications for performance and reliability • Ensure code quality through documentation, testing, and clean engineering practices • Contribute to rapid iteration cycles in a startup environment Required Qualifications • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field from IIT or IIIT • Strong hands-on experience developing native iOS applications using Swift • Experience with iOS SDKs and Apple frameworks • Deep understanding of SwiftUI and UIKit architectures • Proven ability to build scalable, production-grade mobile applications • Strong understanding of mobile application lifecycle, state management, concurrency, memory management, and performance optimization • Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs and integrating backend systems • Strong understanding of frontend and backend engineering principles • Experience with databases, authentication systems, networking layers, and cloud infrastructure • Experience using Git, version control workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and collaborative development practices • Strong debugging, testing, and performance optimization skills What You’ll Gain • Opportunity to help build a venture-backed style MVP from the ground up • High ownership and direct impact on product direction • Mentorship and exposure to startup execution and product strategy • Real-world experience shipping production-grade software • Potential opportunity for long-term collaboration based on performance
