Job Title
Technical Lead – SQL Server Migration
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end migration execution. Coordinate activities across DBA, development, QA, and infrastructure teams.
- Define migration runbooks and cutover plans. Conduct technical assessments and risk analysis.
- Review application dependencies and compatibility with RDS.
- Lead migration rehearsals and production cutovers.
- Ensure adherence to architecture and security standards.
- Monitor project quality, timelines, and deliverables. Resolve complex technical issues during migration.
- Facilitate stakeholder communication and status reporting.
Required Skills
- 8+ years of SQL Server experience.
- 5+ years of technical leadership experience.
- Hands-on AWS cloud migration experience.
- Strong understanding of:
- AWS RDS SQL Server
- AWS DMS
- EC2-based SQL deployments
- High Availability and Disaster Recovery
- Performance Optimization
- Experience with Agile project delivery.
Preferred Qualifications
- AWS Certification.
- Experience leading enterprise cloud migration programs.

Contract Details
This is a 2.5-month contract / consultant opportunity with a budget of up to
₹2.25 lakh per month, depending on relevant experience and technical expertise.
