Role Overview
We are seeking a technically sound and proactive Electrical Engineer to manage the execution, testing, and technical support of our premium architectural and outdoor lighting installations. You will serve as the technical bridge between our design office, sales executives, and project sites, ensuring all systems are installed and commissioned safely, accurately, and to the highest industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
· Site Execution & Supervision: Oversee the on-site installation of architectural lighting, COB spotlights, linear profiles, and outdoor facade systems, ensuring adherence to electrical layouts.
· Drawing & Design Review: Read, interpret, and cross-verify electrical schematic drawings, load calculations, SLDs (Single Line Diagrams), and conduit layouts provided by consultants.
· Testing & Commissioning: Direct the wiring, programming, testing, and final commissioning of specialized systems, including RGB/DMX controllers, dimming protocols (0-10V, DALI), and smart automation interfaces.
· Technical Support & Troubleshooting: Provide on-site engineering support to contractors and electricians, quickly troubleshooting wiring faults, driver failures, or voltage drop issues.
· Load & Power Optimization: Calculate required electrical loads, verify driver/transformer capacities, and plan safe power distribution circuits to prevent system overloads.
· Vendor & Project Coordination: Coordinate with clients' MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) consultants, site managers, and contractors to ensure smooth integration of lighting fixtures.
· Documentation: Prepare comprehensive site progress reports, commissioning certificates, and as-built drawings for final project handover.
Qualifications & Skills
· Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering / Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE).
· Experience: 2 to 5 years of field experience in electrical execution, project engineering, or site installation, ideally within premium lighting, home automation, or building management systems (BMS).
· Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of LED drivers, low-voltage power distribution, architectural lighting control protocols (DALI, DMX, KNX), and electrical safety codes.
· Tools: Basic proficiency in AutoCAD (for viewing/modifying drawings) and MS Excel for material tracking.
· Mobility & Language: Willingness to travel to various project sites across Pune. Ability to communicate effectively in Hindi and English; proficiency in Marathi is a plus.
